    That was a lame and fake test! Why don't they do a drag race between a Prius and some other crap like the Smart car . . who wins? 0-60 in 19 seconds! wow!

    Why the Challenger lost: It's a 4000+ lb slug and needs to go on a diet. Lame launch both times. Lame shifting (short shifting?) both passes. Lifted on second pass (or missed 3rd) - watch the nose. Still, not bad for the EV.

    Some are that is true, but not in mass. The plant up in Ontario, Canada are very slowly cranking them out. There are too be in high gear in late Spring or near change/over in Summer. Nice stang you have by the way.

    whether its a 1/4 mile or not its sad. And they claim this ev car runs 13s and that keeps up with the challenger, again very sad for the hemi.

    The ev does have a similarity to the Elise. And yes the manual Challengers don't come out until the mid-summer of 09. Anyhow it looks bad for G.M. but even worse for Chry. right now. Cerebrous is despartly looking for a buyer. The Chinese only want Jeep at the moment. Fact, sad but True.

    doesn't sound like an Auto. but it is Optional for a auto or Manuel. I just don't understand why they didn't have that Option for the Charger.

    1.Thats not a 1/4 mile 2.If thats a Tesla Roadsters, those are mean cars, but also RIDICULOUSLY expensive. 3.Electric cars make max torque at 0 RPM.

    thats not a 1/4 mile. lets see a real 1/4 mile and see who wins then. the electic car will probably top out and lose. remember a nhra pro stock car does a 1/4 mile in about 6 seconds. count how many seconds the race is yourself.

    The Challenger is a manual. A friend of mine was there and saw the cars up close.

    The front end dropping and rising doesn't mean it's a manual. For all we know the road is uneven. The 2008 challengers were all autos.
