    most of the things you rattled off on your cute little list there are just variations of ' engine performance ' which you said its not all about. so you basically just contridicted yourself massively. Power to weight ratio is a big factor. So is traction, so is driver capability and so is the transmission. Those are the key factors to what could affect who wins. In the end the merc is pure class and is more of a statement saying you have lots of money thats about it.

    Now then as to whether or not the SL600 would win or not, it takes more than engine performance to determine the winner. Like weight-to-hp ratio, torque, transmission gear ratios, differential gear ratios, naturally aspirated or forced induction, stick or automatic, stroker motors or not. Don't get me wrong, I'm not flat out saying the charger would win, just pointing out that you can't say a V12 would beat a V8. There are other factors to take into consideration.

    you're a fucking retard. A V12 that puts out 400hp+. Ooooooo. The Charger SRT-8 puts puts out 425 horses. Stock. It's a V8. Let's put this into perspective: Assume the SL 600 had 408hp. Divide that between 12 cylinders. You get 34hp/cylinder. Alright, the SRT8 at 424hp. Spit among 8 cylinders and you get 53hp/cylinder.
