    my mother was a horse racing fan and worked for the TAB, this was the greatest race she ever saw, she died the next day. RIP. but it was a wonderful race and the aftermath of it was fantastic, i am glad she lived to see it.

    1. Its Makybe Diva not makaye diva. 2. She ran her last race 2005 (ahm... its even in the title of this video). 3. I think your comment: "glad the grey horse didnt win ... cause it was foreign" is totally lame. It doesn't matter if a horse comes from England, Japan or Australia as long as it runs a great race! It was the closest Melbourne Cup finish I ever saw, so in my opinion it was a great and exiting race, even if its still not as amazing as Makybe Diva's great third Cup win.

    I had a teacher 3yrs ago who was having some class comp for guessing wholl come in top 3. The idiot went through all the stuff like form, history, etc. and ended up going for the top 3 horses. I was just thinking 'hey dumbfuck, what if a horse tries xtra hard 2day...u dont count for that' well makybe won...and the rest of his bets were shit
