Erik tells us how to get that broken glass effect without a trip to the hospital (BUT you've still got to be careful!). All you need is cooking spray, corn syrup, sugar, a pot, a pan, cream of tartar, and a thermometer.

    well after it shattered i threw it away ..if you were talking to me .. one day im gonna try it again nd record myself.. but with my luck it will fall again

    maybe use a low water content spray so the sugar doesn't bubble an mix with the oil. I'm no expert but maybe a silicon spray.

    i had a rectangular cookie sheet yet the glass turned out sort of spherical. it was round and ballish... what did i do wrong?

    Dont cook it so long. After too long it reaches a point where it turns yellow and never goes back.

    well it turned out slightly yellow but it still looked like the louvre that is until it shattered it was terrible but I was proud of myself
