revythis!!!!!!!!
loving it
first song by them i ever heard
I can't believe the same person who directed this video also did "Like a Call," because that one is so, so good and this one is just terrible! Awesome song, don't get me wrong, but the video? Ugh.
THis is my favorite song from AIH
If there is one thing that twees love more than anything else it's a good children's drama. Particularly one's set in the eighties. If it is also set in Canada then so much the better. And if it's name is Degrassi Junior High... then !!!!! So when Australia's greatest twee band (apologies to Frente!) has a song that sounds a little like the Degrassi Junior High -- so much so that they have been known to use the theme song as the intro -- then....!!!!! The best 2.21 minutes you shall ever spend.
I guess you're right, hilaryX3. It does sound cool.
I think they just named it that for the sake of it. And because it sounds cool :]
and suburban kids with biblical names! They were born in the desert and were raised by wolves, not in the suburbs!
this looks fun i love themmm
Yeah, and "Of Montreal" are USA citizen, and not Canadian at all...
think of "I'm from Barcelona", they're swedish ;)
Hey quailmansvsu35, I wasn't being sarcastic. I looked them up on Wikipedia as you suggested. It's hard to say w/o reading everything that's ever been written on them, but maybe they picked their name to not make sense, on purpose; it's been known to happen! It would be embarrassing, though, to greet them in Finnish & have them & everyone around look at you like you lost your mind, when you're affirming them in their chosen name & apparent nationality.
look them up on wikipedia..and youll see why they chose the name that they did. just because they are from Australia doesnt mean that they have to use a city from their country in the name... unless you are being sarcastic and i am oblivious to it.
Australian?! Well, that's confusing. I thought they were Finnish. Silly me, I just expected a group from Australia to be called, I dunno, Architecture in Alice or in Perth, or Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, or how about Melbourne? They did that deliberately to be confusing, didn't they? It worked!
yes they are australian
Agreed, debyay.
anyone know these peeps nationality? are they aussie?
wonderful song!!!!!!!!! :)
Wanker.
OF which you don't know the deninition, not IN which you don't know the definition.
I'm pretty old compared to AinH's fanbase, but these guys are pretty damn good! Far superior to a lot of the Indie movement!
j'adore
lol. <3
The album IS called "In Case We Die". XD
