  6. Otho Says:
Someone once asked Jimmy Hendrix how it felt to be the best guitar player in the world. He replied "I don't know, ask Phil Keaggy"

  11. Dina Says:
The Salvation Army is a racist/homophobic organization.
  12. Maximillian Says:
Disregard that, I just heard him on an electric.
  13. HATIM Says:
While I wouldn't say he was a great guitarist he's an incredible trickster when it comes to his delay boxes. I saw someone do the same thing at Youth Convention a couple years ago. I bet he got the idea from Keaggy. I can't remember his full name, unfortunately.
  14. Sagar Says:
I seem to recall Hendrix really respected John McLaughlin. But this vid happens to feature PK, so I will appreciate it in that context and not worry about who's "better".
  15. Says:
    super
  16. LUJZA Says:
keaggy was around in the 60's. look up the squiers
  17. ERECHTHEUS Says:
Oh Please!! That's got nothing to do with the fact he doesn't get enough "airtime", that's up to the artist and what kind of public he is directing his music to, all music has a public a place and a time to be exposed, Phil has got enough exposure and success or recognition for his craft, secular and non secular....peace
  18. Dameon Says:
    this man oozes talent
  19. XIANG Says:
Hendrix died in 1970. You figure it out. :-P
  20. MUT Says:
The great gift of Yahuah given to P.K.- Pure Artistic Talent all for the Almighty's glory!
  21. St?ane Says:
    AMAZING.
  22. TOBRYTAN Says:
Keaggy himself said that he didn't even record at Hendrix's studio until after Hendrix was dead. Another great guy who has played with Keaggy is Dave Beegle, both his solo stuff and his band Fourth Estate, he also gets way too little recognition.
  23. ANGLESEY Says:
research urban myths and I think you will find the Keaggy/Hendrix claim listed. Nevertheless, Keaggy is off the chart and should get way more recognition than he does... both in and out of CCM. Definately the best in my book.
  24. Avery Says:
Thats pretty amazing considering Jimi Hendrix died in 1970.
  25. Fannia Says:
gblan - well said and I agree
