  3. Brionne Says:
    James R. Kirk.
  4. Vardon Says:
This is You tube! I turn the channel during TV commercials. I kill the video on these. No video is worth seeing. I control what I see not the computer!
  5. MADALINA Says:
Canon is a little off but still a great episode.
  6. ZEFIRYNA Says:
Didn't anybody notice at the end, the theme song sounded different than the normal one? Probably used the original "instruments" when Trek was in it's infancy as this was one of the earliest episodes. Could also tell because of the "Desilu" studio trademark used before Paramount took it over, but then was surprised by the TNG/DS9/Voyager modern day era "Paramount" studio theme that followed "Desilu". It feels really weird seeing both studios from opposite time line extremes like that. But nice.
  7. KAZUO Says:
    I can live with it.
  8. NDILA Says:
Good question. Probably because the a license or contract agreement. Also, they probably want you to buy it on DVD.
  9. ISSA Says:
I just noticed how bad the Sick Bay was laid out. No privacy - patients could be seen from the passageway whenever the doors were open. Evidently HIPPA got lost somewhere between the 20th and 23rd Centuries........
  10. Swift Says:
Nice flat screen tv at the start.
  11. WEBER Says:
I haven't seen this video in over 20 years! Wow and its one of my favorite! Many errors in this video. A man so advanced that spock should have been used as guide but for TV drama sake they make the ESP dude a super being that must be killed. Kinda sad but still my favorite.
  12. GAY Says:
two people that I realy like to listen to talking in interviews are gene rodenberry and ralph nader
  13. KWAKU Says:
They were already on the edge of the galaxy. At the speed of light (WARP 1) they were going millions of miles per hour. Such technologies as this await us, in this century. As we've seen. Progress is exponential, now. We landed on another world with our frail physical-bodies less than 3-years after this first came on TV. We seem to have more will to spend billions waging war on ourselves than exploring outer space in manned space-flight.
  14. NHUNG Says:
Sound is loud and clear, and picture is digital-razor-sharp on my PC and flat-screen!
  15. Dayne Says:
We take things like flat-screen monitors and cellphones and satellite- phones for granted today. 42-years ago they seemed like futuristic incredible technology. Soon we shall have star-travel, using technologies of pioneering inventors, like American Thomas Townsend Brown, and British professor John RR Searl.

  18. XIANG Says:
    Capt. Piccard is a fag
  19. Alliss Says:
It's the REAL reason Gary's pissed!
  20. Lani Says:
It's weird seeing Nimoy without a fully realized character yet. It took him a little while to get it right (or at least the way we know him), and on the way Spock would get really hysterical sometimes. It's rather funny when Spock flips.
  21. Shepard Says:
More likely Kirk's character profile hadn't been agreed on yet.
  22. Eritha Says:
I wonder how many dweebs before me noticed the tombstone said "James R. Kirk" instead of "James T. Kirk" HE LIED TO GARY!
  23. IASIUS Says:
since certain broadcasters, like CBS, have been working with youtube to deliver their product..and because CBS's video player can't seem to play without freezing LOL
  24. Elisavet Says:
I watch the commercials only to find out what product they're selling so I'll know what NOT to buy, due to the annoyance they cause.
  25. Gypsy Says:
Since when have youtube videos been of decent quality? This is the first one i've seen.
