    You don't have to be a good driver in an electric car. Driving a Viper to its maximum potential is a handful, and the guy driving the Viper clearly didn't have a clue on racing the car.

    this viper you speak of has 1900 hp, while this roadster had 200, so it stands to reason that it will win the 1/4 mile, but i guarantee you, this roadster will destroy you at every corner. also, it takes no skill to drive in a straight line.

    lets be realistic, how often would you race? and no, obviously it will not last in a le mans. however, will there ever come a time when you will need to worry about that? also, it looks more like a commuter car with some pep. why would you worry about winter driving a tzero, when no one else would drive a viper during winter either? it is easier to make power than it is to save weight.

    viper is road legal . is the tzero packed full of airbags? is it stucturally sound ?{i.e. will it pass crash test specs ? } will the t zero own at le mans ? is the t zero road legal in canada ? how far will it go on charge when the temp is -45 , like it is today in the canadian prarries ? will the batteries freeze up ? what does the t zero cost ? doest it have A.C. system ? how about huge stereo system ? just a curious canuck .btw,twin turbo vipers turn sub 7 sec 1/4 mile times,street legal.

    crash absobing bumpers are padded with styrofoam (light as fuck). while were at it lets give them both some corners and watch the viper get destroyed not only the e-car but almost any half decent sports car out there. im sorry but vipers are str8 up horrible in any thing but straight drags and maybe the odd oval, even there im sure theres a douzen cars for equal or lesser value that beat them in those fields too. save some money and get a real sports car corvette, gtr, m3, evo, etc.

    How? 1) Electric motors have 100% torque from zero rpm, the Vipers max torque is above 3700rpm 2) Torque multiplication. The tzero runs a single gear ratio of 8.25:1 which gives over 1800nm of torque at the wheels from 0 - 5000rpm, the viper has overall gearing of 5.73:1 in 1st and that ratio reduces with each up shift. When these EVs are put up against most mega powered ICEs the race is usually won before the ICE gets out of 1st gear.
