that made me laugh. alot. I'm glad you put that comment. "400 sousand wolts" hehehe
  2. CAMELIA Says:
LOL, i know this might be a bit lame, but if you constantly start it over and over again, just before he says "country" the "Did you know that in..." sounds like japanese or something :P
  3. WINFIELD Says:
You won't survive 1 milion volts
  4. CREIDDYLADL Says:
Hammond's a brave little man. I sure as hell wouldn't say "Oh yeah, put me in a tin can car and zorch me with lightning, see how it goes!" Wish they'd had a heart rate monitor on him, just to see how his ticker was jackhammering!
  5. Skylor Says:
Hmm yea thats what i meanth, 0.03A (30mA) and ofcourse on 50/60Hz AC ... i dont know where i got that other zero from =/
  6. Swift Says:
Actually 30 mA 50/60 Hz AC is lethal.
  7. Gildas Says:
hammond - survivor of a 300mph drag car crash and being struck by lightning in a car.
  8. Maximillian Says:
    1.5A fries you :p 0.003A (3mA) is lethal already.
  9. WAKEMAN Says:
What if the car is on...O_O
  10. Tiladene Says:
he's starting to raise the woltage!
  11. Rahi Says:
The amp-age is what kills you You can survive extremely high voltage, but 1.5 amps is lethal
  12. Jozzlynn Says:
    "Fritz FM" *lol*
  13. Kathleen Says:
I have no doubt that Hammond is completely invincible.
  14. Shifra Says:
well now that was pretty amazing
  15. Osana Says:
That was awesome. I now have no doubt that Richard is completely crazy. What a great show.
  16. PASIPHAE Says:
    Sunday
  17. Asia Says:
hold on just wait.... if ur such a physicist man than calculate the ampage its true that P=VI he said voltage was 800kV and the last power was 600kW so lets assume power was 700kW so assuming that it shows that it was no way the amps of and actual lightning strike. so that puts a large dump on you now doesnt it
  18. Nels Says:
nothing would happen cos the birds not touching the ground
  19. Eglantine Says:
Imagine if a bird landed on that thing?
  20. PRENTICE Says:
ampage?? ur clearly not a physicist!! the voltage is the factor that is created the CURRENT is dependent on the resistance in the journey from the generator to the earth V=IR end of physics lesson for today =D
  21. Parnall Says:
obviosly they did test it and it is probably musch lower ampage then lightning
  22. Almundena Says:
how would BBC's safety thingy allow them to do this if they wouldn't even allow them to drive an ariel atom without a fleet of safty vessels? Unless they knew this wasn't going to not work. Get my point? See...
  23. Langley Says:
You wouldn't see me doing that!
  24. Curran Says:
this vid is awesome! richard hammond did really well to get back on top gear after the jet car crash, and hes the greatest presenter part from jezza and may. hope to see loads more from this guy.
  25. Mairi Says:
there are slow motion videos of lightning originating from the ground and since ur brain works thanks to electrical impulses a lightning strike could affect your motor functions easily
