This is the alternate fan sequence I made for the DVD version of the Gremlins 2 "film break" scene. I made it alone, in a two months period, with (computer-enhanced) puppets I re-created for this project. WATCH THE MAKING OF ON YOUTUBE !!! ————————————————— MORE INFO: WHAT IS IT? In the middle of the movie Gremlins 2, there is a sequence where the film seems to break, and where the gremlins invade the projection booth. For the VHS edition in the early 90's, they reshot a special sequence where the VHS tape seemed to be torn apart and in which the gremlins invaded a John Wayne movie. The DVD just kept the original theatrical version. This is the alternate sequence I made, supposed to replace the theatrical one on the DVD. HOW IS IT MADE? The creatures effects are all made with puppets. I made a new mold out of a hard cast of one of the original sculptures from the production. I created a batch of new foam puppets especially for this project. Their performances are enhanced by computer effects, which makes them able to do nearly anything, from running to jumping or facial expressions. The entire shooting takes place in a bluescreen studio, arranged in my basement, in order to superimpose the gremlins in the chosen movies. WHO AM I ? Sacha Feiner - I am a movie and animated movie director, special effects creator and sculptor, in Brussels. I made several short films, documentaries, and cartoons; I also work as a graphist. In 2007 and 2008, I made an animated series and recut trailers that were played at the BRUSSELS INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL (largest genre festival in Europe), before each screening. WHY THIS PROJECT? I have been a gremlins fan since I saw the first movie as a kid and it has always been my dream to be part of such a project. I own one of the largest Gremlins collections in the world; tons of merchandising products and several original screen-used props. I am truly passionated with these creatures (and their movies), as well as with special effects. I am lucky enough to be able to afford the whole making of something like this, entirely written, produced and directed by me. HOW LONG AND HOW MUCH? The whole production was two months long. It has been finished on 15th july, 2008. This is a fan, non profit project. I did everything alone, from the filming to the compositing. I only had assistants for the puppeteering. The overall budget, including the purchasing of the original sculpture, the HD and studio equipment, the molding and painting of the puppets and the editing, was about US $3000. This is also an answer to something Joe Dante said in an interview, when the journalist asked why they did not shoot any new alternate sequence for the DVD edition: "I guess there was no budget"! Indeed, the purpose is also to show that it is possible to render a professional, entertaining and well done sequence for... nearly nothing.

In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan, armed with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to do an interview about peace. 38 years later, Jerry has produced a film about it. Using the original interview recording as the soundtrack, director Josh Raskin has woven a visual narrative which tenderly romances Lennon's every word in a cascading flood of multipronged animation. Raskin marries the terrifyingly genius pen work of James Braithwaite with masterful digital illustration by Alex Kurina, resulting in a spell-binding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit, and timeless message.

How many different things can happen for only 10 Minutes. The film won the award for the best European short film in 2002. This short film, as its title indicates lasts only 10 minutes, but it tells a much longer story which unravels only in our imagination upon seeing the end of the film. While 10 minutes in someone's life mean nothing, they can be fatal in another: a boy and his loving family, tragedy in a war-torn city, death and destruction. All in just ten minutes. The film follows two simultaneous story lines: one set in Rome, and one in Sarajevo, in 1994, the worst time of the war in Bosnia. Although the Rome part was not filmed on the original location, that does not take away anything from the quality of the film, it was just a symbolic element anyway. Cast is great, story is very compact and well written, direction dynamic and precise. There is nothing out of place in the film: well structured, stripped of false pathos, realistic, it is very straight forward. In other words, this is a jewel of a film, and it was not by chance that it won the award for the best European short film in 2002. 10 minutes for me is definitely one of the most moving and powerful films about wartime Sarajevo. Behind the scene: I read that the director Ahmed Imamovic, in search of Japanese for the role of the tourist, had to go to the Japanese Embassy in Sarajevo and ask one of the staff to perform in the film. Luckily for the director, the Embassy allowed one of their employees to star in the film. The story tells how SERBS have killed civils, old people and children! 10 MINUTA film Ahmeda Imamovica Godina 1994. Rim i Sarajevo. Koliko razlicitih stvari moze da se desi za 10 minuta! Film dobitnik nagrade za najbolji kratki film 2002. god. u evropi! Language/Jezik: Bosnian/Bosanski with english subtitle

Duran Duran Youtube Streams and Chat: http://youtube.com/stream?u=frolickfriendster&i=0 "Come Undone" is the second single from the album Duran Duran (The Wedding Album) by British band Duran Duran, and is their twenty-fourth single overall. With their commercial and critical success re-established by the previous single "Ordinary World", the second release from the album continued to showcase more of the band's entry into the Adult Contemporary genre. "Come Undone" proved to be the group's second consecutive US top ten hit single from The Wedding Album. It was also popular in the UK and other international markets. The group's guitarist at the time, Warren Cuccurullo, is credited with developing the instrumentation for "Come Undone", most importantly its guitar hook, which he developed while trying to do a re-interpretation of "First Impression" from their 1990 album Liberty. The lyrics were written by vocalist Simon Le Bon as a birthday gift for his wife, Yasmin Le Bon). The group's bassist, John Taylor, did not actually play bass on this track. Nick Rhodes and John Jones both contributed synth bass on the track during his absence. The "Come Undone" video was directed by Julien Temple. Shots of the band were filmed in the London Aquarium; these were interspersed with short vignettes of people "coming undone" in various ways. These vignettes include a little girl seeing her parents together, an older couple who have survived a flood, an alcoholic and a man who is revealed to be a cross-dresser. Also seen in the video is a woman struggling underwater to break free of the chains that bind her. Le Bon and Taylor's Vivienne Westwood wardrobe were likely a nod to the band's early New Romantic era. The single was released in the United Kingdom on 29 March 1993, with the b-side "Ordinary World (Acoustic)". This was the single's official b-side in the UK. The US was luckier. Across a myriad of formats Capitol put out no less than three new b-sides - "Time For Temptation", "Stop Dead" and an alternate mix of "Fallen Angel". For collectors, the US releases also contained an alternate mix of "To The Shore" and the first appearance on CD of "The Chauffeur (Blue Silver)" (called "acoustic demo" here, due to the dreadful sound quality). Meanwhile, to whet UK collectors' appetites, EMI released three album tracks on the second CD, along with the album version of "Come Undone". CD One faired slightly better with the beautiful acoustic rendition of "Ordinary World" propping up three mixes of the title track. *Remixes* Album Version Edit 7" edit alternate Mix 1 Master (aka 12" Mix - Comin' Together) Mix 2 Master Churban Mix (aka US Remix) La fin de siècle FGI Phumpin' 12" Come Undub TV Synth Strings The song has been covered by the bands Mad at Gravity, Chica Y Los Gatos, Wise Crack and Bachelor Girl, and Fragile Hollow. The impulsive purchase of a two-wheeled Segway scooter sets this story in motion when the two friends decide to travel from Seattle to Boston at 10 MPH in an attempt to change their lives forever... What ensues is a road trip like none other with a haphazard cast of characters you could only find on a zany 100-day trek through America's back roads. Visit: http://worldwar2propaganda.info for more World War II movies and music. The full movie of Trimpuh des Willens. Text from Wikipedia: The film begins with a prologue, the only commentary in the film. On a stone wall, the following text appears: On September 5, 1934, ... 20 years after the outbreak of the World War ... 16 years after the beginning of our suffering ... 19 months after the beginning of the German renaissance ... Adolf Hitler flew again to Nuremberg to review the columns of his faithful followers... 'Day 1': The film opens with shots of the clouds above the city, and then moves through the clouds to float above the assembling masses below, with the intention of portraying beauty and majesty of the scene. The shadow of Hitler's plane is visible as it passes over the tiny figures marching below[3], accompanied by music from Richard Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, which slowly turns into the Horst-Wessel-Lied. Upon arriving at the Nuremberg airport, Hitler emerges from his plane to thunderous applause and a cheering crowd. He is then driven into Nuremberg, through equally enthusiastic people, to his hotel where a night rally is later held. 'Day 2': The second day begins with a montage of the attendees getting ready for the opening of the Reich Party Congress, and then footage of the top Nazi officials arriving at the Luitpold Arena. The film then cuts to the opening ceremony, where Rudolf Hess announces the start of the Congress. The camera then introduces much of the Nazi hierarchy and covers their opening speeches, including Joseph Goebbels, Alfred Rosenberg, Hans Frank, Fritz Todt, Robert Ley, and Julius Streicher. Then the film cuts to an outdoor rally for the Reichsarbeitsdienst (Labor Service), which is primarily a series of pseudo-military drills by men carrying shovels. This is also where Hitler gives his first speech on the merits of the Labor Service and praising them for their work in rebuilding Germany. The day then ends with a torchlight SA parade. 'Day 3': The third day starts with a Hitler Youth rally on the parade ground. Again the camera covers the Nazi dignitaries arriving and the introduction of Hitler by Baldur von Schirach. Hitler then addresses the Youth, describing in militaristic terms how they must harden themselves and prepare for sacrifice. Everyone present then assembles for a military pass and review, featuring Wehrmacht cavalry and various armored vehicles. That night Hitler delivers another speech to low-ranking party officials by torchlight, commemorating the first year since the Nazis took power and declaring that the party and state are one entity. 'Day 4': The fourth day is the climax of the film, where the most memorable of the imagery is presented. As the soundtrack plays themes from Wagner's Götterdämmerung, Hitler, flanked by Heinrich Himmler and Viktor Lutze, walks through a long wide expanse with over 150,000 SA and SS troops standing at attention, to lay a wreath at a World War I Memorial. Hitler then reviews the parading SA and SS men, following which Hitler and Lutze deliver a speech where they discuss the Night of the Long Knives purge of the SA several months prior. Lutze reaffirms the SA's loyalty to the regime, and Hitler absolves the SA of any crimes committed by Ernst Röhm. New party flags are consecrated by touching them to the "blood banner" (the same cloth flag said to have been carried by the fallen Nazis during the Beer Hall Putsch) and, following a final parade in front of the Nuremberg Frauenkirche, Hitler delivers his closing speech. In it he reaffirms the primacy of the Nazi Party in Germany, declaring, "All loyal Germans will become National Socialists. Only the best National Socialists are party comrades!" Hess then leads the assembled crowd in a final Sieg Heil salute for Hitler, marking the close of the party congress. The film fades to black as the entire crowd sings the "Horst-Wessel-Lied".
